are the sunshine through my window
The leaves upon the tree
The grass out in the meadow
The buzz in every bee.
You are a flash of lightning in the dark
The rain upon my face
The rainbow ‘cross the sky
The stars in every place.
You are the change from season to season
The first crocus out in spring
The chirp of baby birds
The flight in every wing.
You are the air that fills my lungs
The taste of sweet and sour
The softness of a kitten
The fragrance in every flower.
You are the rock in every mountain
The water in every stream
The wave in every ocean
The power behind every dream.
You are the world and all there is beyond
Our lives are in your hand
Please be gentle dear God
When you take us from this land.
