Measure listening

  1. A high number of interruptions or incomplete statements may be an indication that people are not listening to each other.
  2. Identify all the complete statements made by each person and enter these numbers in column 2.
  3. Total column 2 and calculate the percentage of complete statements  at the bottom of the page.
  4. Count the number of times each person has interrupted someone else and enter these numbers in column 3.
  5. Total column 3 and use this percentage to calculate the percentages for each person in column 4.
