Measure the rates of participation
  1. Count the number of words spoken by each person. Put these numbers in column 2 of the table. 
  2. Total the number of words for all members of the group.
  3. Calculate the percentages of each person's participation by taking the number of words spoken dividing it by the total number of words spoken and multiplying by 100. 
  4. Calculate the number spread by subtracting the number of words spoken by the person who spoke least from the most.
  5. Calculate the percentage spread by subtracting the percentage of the person who spoke least from the most.
