Did you know ... at BRHS
 
  • We have 21 teams or clubs offered throughout the year with teachers volunteering on average 116 hours a week.
  • One of our teachers was selected out of 200 teachers across Canada for a Parliament Conference in Ottawa. 
  • We have $98,200 worth of scholarships for last year.
  • We offer employment skills courses outside of instruction time.
  • We have a teacher who has won an international poetry contest. 
  • All of our teachers have first aid training.
  • Volleyball skills clinic is offered to athletes in the summer.
  • One of our teachers is on the Alberta Debate and Speech Association board as Northern Alberta's Representative.
  • l6 students are planning to travel to England and France this year.
  • Our GLSP program contributes significantly to our positive school environment through work experience and student interactions.
  • We organize 10 fund raising campaigns (30 hr faming, AIDS, cancer, Odyssey House, Food Bank, Christmas Child Shoe box, lung & heart, CNIB, Habitat for Humanity, kidney), raising over $8061.00, plus clothing and gift donations.
