Summary Report – 2001-2201
Eleven projects were applied for and approved. Of these, six are being undertaken by six different schools, while the remaining five are undertaken by all appropriate jurisdiction schools. All but one project (School to Work Transition) is being continued. Sufficient documentation was not received to support continuations. Funds from this project were transferred to Increase Counseling Time and shared by the six high schools. Interim reports were written to continue funding last spring. All but two (Curriculum Implementation Support and Increased Counseling time) were given immediate approval. As as soon as the AISI Project Annual Reports (APAR) completed and accepted these two projects will also be approved. Generally, schools are happy
with their involvement in the projects. The extra resources involved
in the application of the projects are most welcomed. Collection
and submittal of the data for writing of reports have been accomplished
with varying degrees of ease. It must be understood that the learning
curve has been quite steep. Principals have been cooperative especially
as expectations become clear to them. It is anticipated that all
reports will be completed within the next two weeks.
